Get ready to hear this word a lot: transitional. Yep it's basically not going to stop until about November. But when you live here in the south like I do, you just never freaking know what your fall weather is going to be like. One minute it's hot, the next you've got a gorgeous crisp the day and then BAM. The warmth is back again.

Truth be told, I rock shorts with ankle booties time and time again no matter what the season is. (see: Summer || Fall || Winter) So I'm not sure if this really counts as transitional for me. But it's a great time to break out your boots if you've been yearning for them all summer long but haven't been able to take off your Tory Burch sandals. And even though my exact style isn't available, their new 2016 style is basically a duplicate and comes in so many colors!

Have a great Wednesday loves - we are officially half way through the week! xoxo

Outfit Post: Camo Print Shirt Dress

GAP Camo Shirt Dress (old - similar option)
Bamboo "Royce 10" Wedge Booties (super similar style from DV)
GiGi New York Uber Clutch in Saddle Pebble Grain c/o
Vintage Sunnies (similar) || Caravelle New York Watch (gifted - old but updated version here) || FitBit armband in Violet (soooo in love with mine!)
Maybelline "Vivid Rose" & "Vibrant Mandarin" lipstick combo

Summer is officially coming to an end.. but the weather isn't quite ready to cooperate yet. So my go-to as we transition into the next season is a combo of comfy and breezy shirt dresses with booties. I love this style of dress because they can be worn at almost anytime of the year. Pair with super cute sandals for summer or tights and boots for winter. Remember versatility is key to get the most out of your wardrobe!

Thanks for bearing with me during my summer break. Sometimes we all just need a little vacation (from all our jobs) and I needed some time away from the blog to unplug. With Labor Day over it's time to get back into the swing of things! Excited for a lot of upcoming Fall partnerships that I can't wait to share with you. Have a wonderful Wednesday everyone!

TGIF Friends! I am SO excited that it's not only the weekend but that it's also a 3-Day one!! Just the thought of an extra day at the beach is helping me get through the rest of today. Do you guys have any fab Memorial Weekend plans? I hope it involves a bathing suit, a cool beverage and lots of R&R cause that's what I plan to do!

P.S. is anyone else into the Black & Brown combo as much as I am right now? Remember when it used to be such a no-no (kind of like red & pink?) I personally love the pairing - especially when you throw in some leopard print a.k.a. the best neutral ever! Do you have any secret loves for weird color combos?

Outfit Post: Mixing Camouflage and Stripes

I can't get enough of mixed prints lately. Leopard with Polka Dots, Florals with Ikat, Camo & Stripes.. what once was considered taboo is now totally in. And even though this isn't the most bold mixing I've ever done, I still love the ease and chicness of the combination.

This past weekend was an exciting one but it was Sunday morning that I was actually looking forward to the most. Emily, the gorgeous blogger from Life with Emily hosted a bloggers brunch at my favorite restaurant Coquette Brassiere and I finally had the opportunity to meet some local NC bloggers!

In our world, heck in any world, it's beyond important to stay connected with actual face-to-face time! Sometimes it's easy to get behind our twitter feeds and facebook pages that we forget to form real-life, in-the-flesh relationships. I was so happy to meet some lovely ladies who I've been fans of and finally putting a 3-D face to the name.. and.. photos!

After getting over the initial nerves and introductions (the bottomless mimosas helped a bit with that) we instantly bonded, sharing our hilarious tales of shooting outfit pictures and how nowadays we meet so many friends online! It was so refreshing to meet some new gals who share the same passions as myself. And, okay... I guess we had to be cliché and take a typical bloggers-with-their handbags group picture:

A BIG thanks again to Em for putting this whole she-bang together!

Blogger Collab: How We Wear Camo

I'm teaming up with my sweet friend Ashley for another blogger collaboration! These are getting to be so much fun :) Ash is a fabulous gal inside and out. I had the pleasure of getting to know her through social media and we finally got to meet up and hang out a few days before I left LA. Though it was short and sweet, I'm so glad we did because she totally rocks. If you don't already follow her, hop on over to her blog Ash'n'Fashn and prepare yourself to become obsessed. Girl's got style game. Like for real.

Today we're talking the trend that is here to stay - camouflage! See below for my outfit deets...

Gap Camouflage Printed Utility Jacket (very recent and on sale!!) || GAP V-Neck Tee (old)
Express Zelda Jegging (last season)
Chinese Laundry Riding Hood Boot gifted c/o Poor Little It Girl
GiGi New York Saddle Uber Clutch in Pebble Grain Leather c/o (use coupon code BAD for 15% off) || Forever 21 "BAD" Ring (very recent) || Revlon "Fuchsia Fusion" Lipstick

I'm overjoyed that the temps have dropped and I'm able to bust out all my cool weather favorites - including these boots. They've become a complete staple since I won them last year in a giveaway proving to be one of the most comfortable and most fabulous pair of boots I've ever owned.

But let's get to the center of this meat-n-potatoes dish, the camo jacket (I swear when I found it, there was a bright white light around it and little babies with wings playing harps and what not) I've been on the hunt for a while and Sunday was my golden ticket. Can I brag just a little bit more? I got it not only on sale but extra % off due to the Columbus Day sale. Holllllaaaaa! I'm going to wear it every which way under the sun and 'till the cows come home (and any other metaphor you can squeeze into my skinny jeans) It also comes in other colors and I'm seriously contemplating the blue color...

Shout out to my girl Ashleigh over at Fringe of Beverly Hills in Santa Monica for doing, yet again, a phenom job on the rats nest called my hair. Y'all need to go see her STAT if you'd like to be touched by an ombré genius. I still have a few back posts logged so beware of that scraggly mop that might show up a time or two in the future. Don't worry kids, it won't bite ya.....

Have you entered my giveaway yet? Hop on over for your chance to win the coveted ILY Couture Sweatshirt!

Enjoy your Tuesday, shop my look below and don't forget to stop by Ash's blog to see her style those freaking amazing camo trousers!

Outfit Post: Welcoming Fall {With A GiGi New York Promo Code}

C. Luce Suede Colorblock Maxi Dress - borrowed & now available at Apricot Lane North Hills
GiGi New York Saddle Uber Clutch in Pebble c/o {15% off when you use promo code BAD}
Julie Vos Grande Soho Gold Necklace c/o LuckyFABB || H&M Leopard Belt (old - similar at Target) || Sole Society Platform Sandal (old) || J. Crew Classic Pave Link Bracelet (budget factory version here) || Caravelle by Bulova Rose Gold Watch || Revlon "Fire & Ice" Red Lipstick

Yesterday marked the first day of Autumn and I could not be more excited!!! (I mean let's get real.. I've only been talking about this day since July!) Since we've finally hit that time of year, I thought what better way to ring in the season of changing leaves than with this suede maxi dress & a promo code to GiGi New York?!

First can we discuss the dress? It's the perfect maxi for Fall! The colors, the material, the fit. I love it all. It practically looks like a changing leaf itself. Call or head over to Apricot Lane in North Hills to nab it. I added tons of gold accessories and decided to change out the belt for this leopard one - giving it a little bit of BAD flair. I feel like Red Lipstick was made for fall, wouldn't you agree? To me, this whole outfit just screams "Autumn is Here!"

I told you a few weeks ago that you'd be seeing a lot of this bag. And I have to make do on my promise. {Though I admit, it's not that difficult} Every time I take this guy somewhere - someone is always asking me about it. I think it's because it has such a unique texture for a handbag that's not over sized. I love that it holds just about everything that a large leather bag would, but I can wear it with my fancier outfits since it is a clutch. And right now, the lovely GiGi folks are offering BAD readers a special coupon code of 15% off whenever you use the code.. well.. BAD. P.S. here's the smaller version of this clutch

So what are you most excited about wearing for fall? Happy Monday! (p.s. have you entered this giveaway?)

Outfit Post: Neon & Leopard Are Neutrals - Right?

DIY White Cutoff Shorts
Vintage Top
Target Leopard Print Loafers (almost sold out - similar here

We already know that leopard is officially considered a neutral - I mean the print goes with everything!! But would you believe it if I told you that Neon is practically a neutral in my wardrobe too? I wear it as much as possible and pair it with everything from prints to leather to fancy dresses. This fabulous necklace is no different.

I've been eyeing it for months and finally took the plunge when Michelle Money announced on her instagram that all proceeds from this sale would go to Gia Allemand's memorial/family. Such a sweet gesture for her to do during such a tough time. So I actually paired the neon with (real) neutrals - a silver top and white cutoff shorts were the perfect backdrop to show off this bright beauty.

I couldn't resist to add a bit of fall to this summertime outfit though. How fabulous is my camel colored uber clutch from GiGi New York?! Be prepared to see it a lot in my wardrobe because this pebble grain leather beauty is the perfect accessory no matter the occasion.

On another note - can we discuss how much I can't wait to get a hair cut... We've booked a trip back to Los Angeles for the first week of October and I can't wait! This also means seeing my amazing hair stylist Ashley at Fringe Salon. She is a hair genius. I wish I could fly her to NC every time I need a hair update...

I also want to wish GroopDealz a very happy 3rd birthday!!

Make sure you head over to their site ASAP for some fabulous budget deals as well as giveaways to help celebrate year number 3 of great and affordable style. P.S. did you see what the grand prize is?!? I seriously wouldn't mind scoring that package!! I'm totally digging these LOVE bracelets - and at only $6 a piece - why not get all 5?

Don't miss out!
