Sometimes fall feels like a tough time to figure out what the heck to wear. The weather is absolutely Antartica freezing in the morning and by the time noon hits, you're ready to hit the beach. Well not exactly, but I'm sure you understand my sentiments.

This is why layering needs to be a major part of your fall wardrobe. Just because the weather temperatures are literally 30 degrees apart throughout the day, doesn't mean you can't still throw on your favorite pieces. Repeat after me ladies: Layer, Layer, LAYER!

First of all, I'm OBSESSED with this Jane Hudson dress. Y'all, it's SO good. Like one of the comfiest things I've ever worn. (Plus it doubles as a fantastic #BADxGameDay outfit piece for FSU games!) The garnet/maroon color fits perfectly with a fall palette, which is why I had to figure out a way to continue to wear it during the cooler months. Enter a trusty-never-ever-fails-me-not-even-once chambray shirt. I wanted to mix it up, so I layered mine underneath this frock and absolutely loved the look it gave me. Worried you'll get too warm? Just rock your button up on the outside of the dress and peel off to give your arms some air once it gets warmer.

Did I mention that right now, with Thanksgiving sales, this dress is marked down? YES PLEASE! Hurry over to scoop it up and shop the rest of my look right here:

Get ready to hear this word a lot: transitional. Yep it's basically not going to stop until about November. But when you live here in the south like I do, you just never freaking know what your fall weather is going to be like. One minute it's hot, the next you've got a gorgeous crisp the day and then BAM. The warmth is back again.

Truth be told, I rock shorts with ankle booties time and time again no matter what the season is. (see: Summer || Fall || Winter) So I'm not sure if this really counts as transitional for me. But it's a great time to break out your boots if you've been yearning for them all summer long but haven't been able to take off your Tory Burch sandals. And even though my exact style isn't available, their new 2016 style is basically a duplicate and comes in so many colors!

Have a great Wednesday loves - we are officially half way through the week! xoxo

Outfit Post: Sleeveless White Vest

Ever since I received this white sleeveless long blazer, I've been racking my brain on how I can wear it throughout the seasons. I thought why not share about how I'd wear it now, and then still be able to wear it later, as the temperatures really drop.

Missguided sleeveless vest/blazer c/o
Target tank top and jogger pants (old - love this pair)
Shoemint mules
Half United necklace c/o Jewelers Wife
Sole Society sunglasses c/o (sold out)
Caravelle watch (gifted)
Maybelline lipstick

We're still going to be in the upper 70's later this week and this is a perfect counterpart to that awkward weather limbo season. It's the perfect look for the office that's still put together but fashion forward enough for me. Plus when I'm walking to get my lunch, I won't be sweating in fall sun. I LOVE the length of this blazer - it's super flattering on. I'm thinking I'll wear it next with some skinny jeans and a blouse once the thermometer starts to drop. How would you wear it? Any outfit ideas? I'm open!

Hope you guys have a fantastic start to your week! xo

Come Shop With Me: The Impeccable Pig Fall Event

You guys... I'm SO excited for my event happening Thursday at The Impeccable Pig's Cameron Village location. I stopped in there last night (where I picked up this little ensemble!) and there are so many amazing fall pieces! I hope you'll be joining us from 5-7 pm where you'll be able to get 20% full priced items!

Chinese Laundry "Riding Hood" boot (sold out - try these!)
J.Crew Factory chain link bracelet c/o Carolina Premium Outlets
Rayban "Chris Velvet" sunglasses in violet mirror c/o Carolina Premium Outlets

How fantastic are these two pieces? Literally the second the manager Allison showed them to me, I was like "I have to HAVE these!" Together, they're absolutely perfect for this transitional time. You know the awkward it's still cool in the mornings, but warm in afternoon days. I love how edgy they look when paired with the moto buckle boots.

But I'll still be able to wear them well into the fall/winter months. That skirt will look great with a pair of tights and brown riding boots. And the tank I can rock with jeans, a blazer and booties. Plus, they can both still carry me through the spring months too. Got to love versatile pieces!

I really hope you'll be able to make it out on Thursday. I'd love to see you there! It's going to be so much fun. Let's go shopping!!
