Outfit Post: Floral 2 Piece Set

Sometimes you just want to dress up in a fancy 2 piece outfit an be as girly as possible.

Crop Top & Midi Skirt co-ord set c/o Boohoo (old - but super similar skirt here)
Heels via eBay (save version and a splurge version)
GiGi New York "All In One" clutch c/o (similar color)
Michael Kors "Bradshaw" watch

I'm still loving this floral co-ord set, even as we head out of summer. I think transitioning your floral prints into fall with darker colors like rich purple, navy and deep corals, is the perfect way to continue to enjoy floral prints throughout the cooler season.

I've found some fabulous fall floral options for you to shop right here:

Outfit Post: Bluetique Floral Print Romper

Lately, I can't stop shopping rompers. Why I'm just now getting around to falling in love with them, I don't quite have the answer to. But let's just say I'm SO glad I have!

Doesn't my new GiGi zip pouch match oh-so-well?! Did you guys see my post earlier in the week about the discount they're running this week? You can get 15% off your order with this promo code! (Ummm what are you waiting for?!)

Bluetique Cheap Chic Floral Print Romper c/o (get it here)
Bamboo "Royce 10" Lace Up Wedge via Fab'rik
ASOS Metallic Bow Belt (sold out - similar style)
GiGi New York Zip Pouch c/o (use this code for 15% off)
Forever 21 BAD ring || Michael Kors "Bradshaw" Rose Gold Watch || J.Crew Pave Link Bracelet || Jeweler's Wife Classic Monogram Bangle c/o || Nordstrom BP Mirror Aviators (splurge version now on sale!!) || Sally Hansen "Pacific Blue" Nail Polish || Maybelline "Vivid Rose" lipstick

How fab is this romper?! It's bold and bright, has adorable details (like the ruffle leg opening) and the color couldn't be more girly and fun! I'm obsessed with everything about it. And it's so incredibly comfy (yes for real!) I paired it with my new booties (that you guys when crazy for on instagram) since this one piece is so colorful. Sometimes a nude shoe is just the way to go. I finished off my outfit with tons of mixed metal jewelry because... well why not? I personally love to mix rose gold with platnium and gold. When done right, it's luxurious without being too gaudy. For me, this look is the perfect mixture of edgy glam.

I first discovered Bluetique Cheap Chic, after learning they were based out of Kentucky, where my husband is from. But then they went and put 2 stores in the Triangle area (one is Chapel Hill & one in Raleigh) and I got even more excited to shop in person! They've got incredibly cute pieces, like this summer dress or this fabulous neon option, and you guys.. their prices are amazing. Now I know that's something any gal can appreciate. But don't worry if you don't have a store near you, you can still shop on online!

Outfit Post: Florals & Chambray

H&M Floral Print Trousers (old - similar)
Old Navy Chambray Oxford
Boutique 9 "Orson" Pump (old - updated style herehere)
Phillip Lim for Target Mini Crossbody (sold out) || Nordstrom BP "Flash" Sunnies (splurge option) || Michael Kors "Bradshaw" Rose Gold Watch (dreaming of the gold/black & the matte black version) || Maybelline "Fuschia Fever" hot pink lipstick

You can't really ever go wrong with chambray and floral print. It's like peanut butter and jelly. It just makes sense.

The whole time we were flying to Los Angeles, I kept singing the Diddy song "I'm Coming Home" until Bill just about wanted to punch me in the face. The backdrop from these photos is the perfect reason why - one of my favorite streets in Santa Monica. We had absolutely amazing weather while we were there and I wish we could go back all the time.

I know I've raved about it before, but let me say how much I heart this Maybelline hot lip lipstick. It's the perfect shade I was searching for and I'm tempted to go back and get the neon orangey color too. Sometimes I'm so brand loyal that I have to remember to step outside the box and try some new things every now and then. Thankfully this lipstick trial was a success! Do you have a favorite brand/color lipstick that you can't go without?

#TargetStyle: Fresh Floral Prints

For my last and final #TargetStyle post we're discussing.... Florals! I know - it seems so cliché... a flower print for spring? But it really is that fabulous! Prints are an easy and super chic way to update your wardrobe and Target let's you do it on a major budget! Which means you can get several pieces in this flirty and fresh take on an "oldie but a goodie" Let's take a look at some of my favorite flowered Target finds:

#TargetStyle: Spring Florals

Floral Print Jeans // Floral Print Scarf  // Floral Print Shirt // Floral Umbrella // Floral Print Tote // Floral Printed Rain Jacket  // Floral Print Swim Top & Bottom

How fun are these items? I am totally drooling over that floral print button down - perfect for layering or mixing prints. And you'll be the hit at your next pool party or beach getaway in a bright and sassy swimsuit. What's that saying.. April Showers bring May Flowers? Well I say take on April showers with flower print options like this umbrella or rain jacket.

With all this fickle weather (back & forth, back & forth) I say we take the lead and start Spring off on the right foot with colorful and chic floral prints. Tell me... are you into floral prints right now? If so, how are you wearing them?

Don't forget to check out my other fabulous #TargetStyle picks like these polka dot outfits or my favorite vacation sandals! Happy Thursday everyone! xo
It’s Time for Springtime.
