Just a quick little outfit post before I head off to LuckyFABB (see my recap from September's conference here) this morning! I couldn't be more happier that it's happening in L.A. this season (so much easier for wardrobe choices) but in hindsight.. maybe wasn't such a great idea trying to cram packing our entire lives in between the conference :)

Outfit Post: I'm A Hipster

Okay, I'm not really... but I sure do feel like one when I wear my new glasses. You see, although I've been wearing glasses since I was 10, I've never bought a fashionable pair. Since I wear my contacts every day, my glasses are usually reserved for night time, weekend mornings or when I'm sick. They've always been inexpensive, simple and small framed - never much to look at. I've always wanted to experiment with new looks but I just never took the time or the money to buy nicer frames. However all that that changed a few weeks ago when I found Firmoo.

Firmoo is an online optical store that offers a bazillion frame choices, colors, sizes etc.. Well not quite that many but there's definitely a lot to choose from. They're running a promotion where your 1st order of frames are free (all you pay for is the shipping). I knew I couldn't pass up the opportunity to score a new pair and try something new! I've always loved those over-sized, masculine (surprise, surprise), wayfarer Buddy Holly-esque frames. So I finally took the plunge and got a pair!

They're just a smidge larger than I originally thought, but other than that, I LOVE them. It's kind of nice to try something different. After all, I own like 20 pairs of sunglasses, so why not offer some variety with my prescription eye wear! I've enjoyed wearing them outside of my living room and they're definitely a conversation starter. Besides, when have I ever said "be normal"? Ummm never? So if you're ready for a change or just want a little spice in your life - go visit Firmoo.
