I'm excited to be co-hosting another Trend Spin link up with Erin & Laura. This week's theme was Summer Shoes and if you've been following along with my style, then you know I'm obsessed with wedges. Talk about the perfect summer shoe, right?

I personally think wedges are one of the best traveling items. While in Key West, I wore this outfit and thankfully, platform wedges made my night not only stylish, but comfy too! They're one of those shoes can go with just about anything - sundresses, cutoff shorts, jeans... the list is endless! 

I love the metallic detail on this braided pair. Even though this look is more casual than dressy, it still feels put together and totally summary.

How amazing is this cork tote? Remember when I told you about Spicer Bags last month? I can't get enough of their cork collection. Or this tote bag. It's been on my shoulder since it arrived in the mail. The cork material is such a funky and cool touch. Bonus points for it being Eco-Friendly! I also love the fact that this tote has two outer pockets, perfect for storing my phone, sunglasses, or my emergency bag of sour patch kids (I take sour candy very seriously).

Outfit Post: Tropical Print Top + Leather Skirt

Last week, I got to talk about some spring and summer essentials on My Carolina Today (view that post here) One of the items was this tropical print tee. Would you believe me if I told you this was from the Nicki Minaj Collection for KMart?!? That's what I love about fashion... there's always a surprise in store! Anyways... I plan on living in it this summer. Why? Because there are so many ways to style it! Here's how I wore it for the segment and the rest of my work day.

I absolutely love the colors and the print on this tee. It's so bright and summery! But to make it office appropriate, I paired it with a pleated midi skirt and black heels. This kept it dressed up enough for work but still fun and cheeky. If your work doesn't allow open toe sandals, just swap them out for some pumps. 

P.S. I'm REALLY into these fab sunnies from Sole Society. I love the retro-ish shape! So perfect for casual beach days or dressed up occasions.
