Game Day Outfit: Garnet and Gold Glam

There's nothing I love more than a good Florida State gameday outfit. But what's even better than that? A gameday blogger collaboration with my girl Danielle over at Lou What Wear!

You'll remember last year we each styled a baseball cap for the Florida State vs. Miami game. That challenge was a step out of my comfort zone, but so much fun to do. This year we teamed up with Moon and Lola for a more dainty approach and each styled their Acrylic State Pendant Necklace. It even has a heart or star cutout for you favorite city! How cute is that?

I'm in serious love with our necklaces! They're beyond perfect for a Gameday Outfit. With over 30 colors to choose from, you can rep your state and school pride in just the right shade. Then, choose your city's heart cut out (Tallahassee for me, Miami for Danielle). It's the perfect finishing touch whether you're watching a football game, attending a basketball tournament, or just want to shout it out the world that you love your school and state. Shop Moon and Lola's entire state collection here.

I love the way that Danielle styled hers. Don't forget to hop over to her blog to check out the full look.

I'm really nervous about this game. We have definitely struggled all year and Miami always seems to be an intensely played game year after year. Let's hope my Seminoles can pull out the W (sorry D!)

It's my favorite time of the year - Football Season! And you know that means I'm coming back with another edition of my BADxGameDay series. After last year's national championship win, this season has started out a little rocky for my Seminoles. But thanks to some amazing partners this year, my outfits will definitely not be on the rocky side. Not even close

For the Clemson game, I knew it was going to be stressful so I wanted to be as comfortable as possible. A lightweight tee, comfy flats and jeans were the perfect game day look for this serious nail biter of a game.

Enter OCJ Apparel [again!] They've got a ton of branded school's to choose from (like LSU, Alabama, South Carolina... yes even UF. But if they don't have your school's embroidered option, they have just about every color under the sun so you can still rock your team's colors. (note they run a bit long so if you're shorter, you will need to get them hemmed.) And you can never go wrong with anything from Twelve Saturdays. Liz is a total rockstar when it comes to finding awesome Game Day apparel. She restocks weekly (practically daily it seems!) so make sure you're following her to see all her new arrivals. Loving this Nole Tank for all you Seminole fans out there!

More amazing Game Day brands are coming your way in the next few weeks. So stay tuned and be on the lookout for your next tailgating outfit. Until then.. shop OCJ jeans below.

This is my updated version of the "Jeans & Tank" game day outfit. I wore it last weekend to cheer on the Seminoles while Bill and I drank beer and watched football at the bar across the street from our apartment. I love that it's still comfy and supporting my team, but my black jeans and ankle booties up the ante just a smidge to take it from college student to stylish alum.

Don't forget that I would love to feature you on BAD next week for your stylish Game Day looks! All you have to do is email me a photo of you rocking your Game Day Outfit whether it's football, baseball, basketball - anything that tickles your fancy. I just want to show how stylish we sports lovers can be. I've already received several submissions but the more the merrier!!

I've got a few more #BADxGameDay collaborations lined up for the rest of the year and I'm REALLY excited about them! Stay tuned! Happy Friday and Go Noles!!

TGIS - Thank Goodness It's Summer! I seriously love this time of the year. Any excuse to bust out a swingy white dress and wedges is fine by me. This dress has been a serious staple in my closet going from summer to fall with ease (Here's how I wore it last October) For a July night, I thought pops of pink were just the right amount of flair to add. Plus you guys went nuts over this instagram photo which further confirmed my accessory choices :)

Thanks to a giveaway from A Southern Soiree, the company that planned my wedding, Bill & I had a delicious date night a few weeks ago at Dean's Seafood Grill & Bar. 50 cent oysters on Wednesday? Yes, please! We went a little crazy.. okay.. a lot crazy. Just check out our spread...

2 dozen oysters, a few Basil Grape Vines & an order of muscles later, not only were our stomachs thankful for a night out, but so were we. Have you donned a little white dress this summer? If so, how did you wear it? Happy Monday! xo

Whenever I think about adding a new piece of clothing to my closet, I try to come up with at least 3 different ways to wear it before I purchase it. It's super important to try and make your pieces as versatile as possible in order to push your wardrobe further. Take for instance this white VFish dress from Twelve Saturdays. When I first saw it, I had trouble trying to decide if I should style it for a night out or daytime. White it does have a slim fit, the A-line skirt hits mid-thigh making it ladylike. That's when I realized why not show both options!

This scalloped neck frock is the perfect piece to take you from board room meetings to happy hour cocktails with no problem. To make it office appropriate, I paired it with a black tuxedo blazer and bright cap toe pumps. My ILY Couture Pia handbag is the perfect add on for not only my black and white theme, but it holds everything from my camera, agenda and notebooks for meetings.

Fast forward to 6 PM when I meet my friends for Martini Wednesday. I throw my hair up in a bouncy pony, slip on a jeweled necklace, and strap on my fav lace up sandals. But you guys know I can't survive without color. So with a swipe of hot pink lipstick and a watercolor box clutch, I've instantly brought a flirty and fun element to my look. Just by switching out a few accessories and your shoes you can transition almost any look from day to night!

Don't forget to visit Twelve Saturdays to check out Liz's other fabulous dress options. P.S. a little birdie told me some new Game Day gear will be going up around mid-July/August so keep a look out!
