About a month ago, I attended Moon & Lola's block party for their new Raleigh store. It was so stinking hot that day which can sometimes put a damper on your outfit. I knew I wanted to stay cool, but still wanted to look cute. Enter the perfect way to "dress up" your cutoffs: A Sequin Crop Top! 

I love the juxtaposition of worn in denim shorts with a little something something fancy. #YesPlease! Gave myself a [Ariana Grande] high pony and slipped on my fav metallic sandals (which are on sale by the way!!) and sparkled in the sun.

If flats aren't your thing, you could always try a fun heel, like these mules, which I plan on doing next time I wear this outfit.

Sometimes I absolutely love being a woman.

Wearing this outfit is one of those times. For me it doesn't get much better than this!
