Outfit Post: Neon Green Pleated Dress

Are you shocked I'm in another neon dress? Your answer is probably no, and I'm totally okay with that. Because this one, is a good one. And let's be honest, neon is always a good idea! I've seen some gorgeous neon pleated dresses floating around the internet (including on my #SBScon roomie Lindsay!) and I just had to get my hands on one. Thankfully, this one is a fraction of the price!

I landed back in NC yesterday AM and admittedly was a little bit sad. I always feel this way after visiting California and especially after spending time in Los Angeles. As hard as that city can be, I still love it so, so, so much. And miss it often! I'm thankful that I can always visit and who knows maybe one day I'll be back there.

In the meantime, this neon number was the perfect, easy breezy outfit for wine tasting in Santa Barbara. It was pretty warm and the airy light fabric kept me nice and cool. Everyone loved the color and the best part? It's ridiculously affordable. Like SO affordable.

I'm still coming down off an incredible high of a week with some of my best friends. I needed a little girl time in my life, and if you saw on instagram, we had a blast! I think I'll be recovering for the next week or so but it was totally worth it. And I didn't spill any wine on my new dress. Double score!

Hope you loves have a fantastic Tuesday! xo (shop the items of my post below!)

Outfit Post: Neon Orange & White Skater Dress

I'm still going through Charleston withdrawals from this past weekend's Southern Blog Society conference (or #SBScon as you may have seen floating around the blogsphere) There's something special about that little city. It's charming, beautiful, magical, and let's not forget hot as hell! Hence the crazed half-curled, half-uh-what? hairstyle happening in these photos.

That's okay though. Let's be honest. We all know I like my hair a little did-she-even-wash-or-brush-that-mane look. The first full day of the conference was jam packed with speakers, panels, networking, oh and champagne. Lots of champagne. Of course I had to wear something bright, fun and oh-so-Bedazzles After Dark. As always, The Impeccable Pig swooped in and saved the day with this fabulous neon skater dress.

GiGi New York "All In One" clutch (gifted)
Kendra Scott "Natalie" ear cuffs in Rose Gold/Iridescent Druzy
Michael Kors watch
FitBit Flex (love this so much)
Sole Society "Danielle" sunglasses in Gold.

If it's neon and from TIP, chance are pretty good I'm going to love it. I made this dress daytime wearable with neutral accessories, messy hair and minimal makeup. Just lots of mascara and several swipes of fuchsia lipstick

I don't know what it is, but I love the combination of an orange/coral dress with hot pink lipstick. Seem weird at all? Okay good because I don't plan on stopping. It leaves you feeling sassy with a capital Sssss!

You guys, there's so much I wanted to say about #SBScon. It was absolutely amazing. I could seriously go on and on, but more on that later.

Hope you guys have a wonderful Tuesday! Oh and I'm holding the RDU Baton today. Would love for you to follow along with me! xoxo

Julep "Eileen" Nail Polish || Maybelline "Vivid Rose" Lipstick

Phew.. I am back from my trip to New Orleans with a stuffed stomach, sore abs from laughing, a full heart and lots of dark circles from almost no sleep. So basically it was the greatest weekend ever. It was so great to spend some much needed time with my girlfriends. I miss them so much!

And while I was there I also couldn't stop raving talking about The Impeccable Pig. I'm sure they got sick of me saying TIP every time they asked me where something was from! My friend Amanda fell in love with this dress and plans on ordering it immediately - it just became available online but it still should be in stores. I love the cut and color - one other detail I forgot to take photos of is the contrasting zipper. So cute! Plus who couldn't use a little extra hot pink in their lives to brighten their Monday?

Hope you had a great weekend! xo

Outfit Post: The Blondie Dress

Jennifer Zeuner "Serafina" Nameplate Necklace (gifted)
J.Crew Pave Link Bracelet
Blu Bijoux Hammered Pearl Bracelets
Maybelline "Fuchsia Flash" Lipstick || Julep "Eileen" Nail Polish || Essie "Teeny Bikini" Toe Nail Polish

When I was shopping for last week's event, I came across this FABULOUS dress at The Impeccable Pig and I just had to share it with you guys!

It's super different and unique. I love the asymmetrical hemline, the just high enough slit and, of course, the color! It's one of the dresses that when you see on the hanger you aren't too sure about but then once it's on, you LOVE it. I also like that since there's a lot of leg showing, it's covered up at the chest and the back too. I'm not usually one for showing off my legs, but for some reason this dress just automatically makes me exude confidence and be okay with it! Yesterday we chatted about smooth legs and summer hacks so this couldn't have been a more perfect dress to showcase that!

P.S. A very big thank you to everyone who came out on Thursday!! It was so much fun to shop with you and help you pick out outfits/dresses/ensembles for upcoming vacays/weddings/events. Can't wait to do it again with you! Happy Tuesday everyone!! xo

Outfit Post: Neon Dress + The Impeccable Pig

The Impeccable Pig neon coral shift dress c/o || Boutique 9 "Orson" nude pump (updated style here) || GiGi New York "All In One" clutch in sand c/o || Michael Kors "Bradshaw" rose gold watch || J. Crew classic pavĂ© link bracelet || ILY Couture arrow ring c/o

There is no doubt about it. I have a new obsession - with the cutest name ever. The Impeccable Pig. From the moment I walked into the bright, clean, pristine Cameron Village (in Raleigh) location, I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Bright colors & bold fashion choices are just 2 of the many reasons why I can't stop shopping online or visiting the store. They've got a ton of choices for everyone, no matter what your style is. Flowy tops, shift dresses, stacks of bracelets, colored shorts - the possibilities are seriously endless. You're bound to fall head over heels for one, if not more, Impeccable Pig options. (like this one, or this one... or this one!)

Which is exactly what happened to me when I laid eyes on this neon shift dress. It was most definitely love at first sight. The coral eyelets, the sheer top layer, the fit, the color. There is not one single thing that I don't absolute adore. One thing I forgot to mention about TIP - the prices. I mean, can you spell affordable?! Considering how fabulous all the clothes and jewelry are, I was truly surprised by how budget friendly everything is. Music to mine (and my husband's) ears.

Even though I'm really excited about discovering a variety of ways to style this dress over the summer and fall, I wanted to keep it super simple for an event I attended last Thursday. I layered on gold accessories, nude pumps and my favorite clutch (I seriously don't know what I'd do without GiGi) to complete my look. My summer glow only helped illuminate this neon frock further (I think my addiction to the beach is more apparent on the East Coast - is that even possible?)

Not sure if you have an Impeccable Pig location near you? First check here. If not - head immediately over to their website. Another fabulous part about them? Online Shopping!! And who doesn't love that? Happy Monday everyone!! xo
