I thought this all white outfit was beyond perfect for the first day of #TBScon which also happened to be my birthday! I mean what girl doesn't want pretty bows on her feet for her birthday (even if it was my 30th!) 

I think one fantastic benefit of adding a LWD (little white dress) to your wardrobe is that you can totally translate it from season to season. During the summer, throw on your cutest pair of sandals and rock a tan (like here, a few seasons ago). But come fall, I reach for a chambray shirt (which can go over OR under like here) a great pair of ankle boots and and scarf. Good news for you? The one I'm wearing is from The Impeccable Pig and is still available! 

Also I can't get enough of all white errrrythang when it comes to accessories. A great GiGi bag, rose gold watch and a good nail polish are all I need. I think I like crisp and cleanness of the monochromatic palette.

Valentine's Day is almost here and it's time to celebrate! I have to be honest - I'm not normally a tight clothing wearing kind of gal. But when I saw this faux suede wine colored mini dress, I instantly got 90's nostalgia and wanted to rock it like the girl of Beverly Hills 90210. (Psssst it also comes in black!) Which is why I am also grateful for the 3/4 length sleeves. For me, when wearing something more body-conscious, it's important to keep things low key. Neutral accessories (this clutch is my serious go to) along with minimal jewelry keeps everything put together, sexy and not too over the top. 

Speaking of simple, I'm loving these block heels from Boohoo! I think every gal should have several types of nude colored shoes in her closet and the thick heel on these sandals make them oh-so-comfy. Plus I'm digging the glittering of gold from the heel.

Last week, I hit my last party of the summer. Since it took place after Labor Day, I figured it was the perfect time to smash that age old rule of "No White After Labor Day." I say, why not wear all white after Labor Day?

It's officially time to kiss summer goodbye. Although we won't say goodbye to warmer daytime temps, the morning and evenings are starting to cool off. Finally! I'm ready for a little bit cooler weather. My outfit idea during this transitional time? A culotte jumpsuit!

Remember when culottes were.. well cool? They're finally back in style! And if you didn't think you could wear them heading into fall, think again. Why not throw a blazer or light sweater over top for nighttime? Swap out your sandals for pumps and you've got a perfect "beginning of fall" going out look!

Last week was a c-r-a-z-y week filled with lots of events. Friday night I had 2 parties to attend and this jumpsuit was just the right amount of comfortable chic that I needed. Shout out to Jamie over at Furbish Studios. The new space looks incredible and I'm so happy I got to see it!

Birthdays are the perfect excuse to dress up in something super girly for a night out on the town! But let's be honest.. I would have worn this on a Tuesday even if it wasn't my birthday! ;)

Lately I seriously cannot get enough of rompers. They're fun, flirty and just about the easiest thing to throw on. I love wearing them dressed up - apparently it seems unexpected to others. I got a lot of surprised "Is that a romper?" questions followed by "It's so cute!"or "I'm totally into rompers too" So next time, try yours with some sky high heels and your favorite clutch. Although jeans and a tee is one of my favorite and go-to wardrobe choices, sometimes they just need a little something extra. I stepped up my casual game with my favorite GiGi clutch in a bright, bold lime green color along with this fabulous statement necklace from Prima Donna Jewelry. It elevates the whole look just a tad, don't you think?

 

I'm so happy I scored this color for spring. It's been going with everything in my closet from dresses to pants to more casual evenings. I'm also in love with their summer colors like indigo and salmon. So cheerful!

 

Another day of no internet or television. Things have been pretty quiet at my house... I guess it's a nice change but I was just getting into a Scandal marathon on Netflix.. now I feel like I'm going through withdrawls. I need some Olivia Pope!!
