When I posted this look on instagram, I called it 50 shades of a Snowflake, so I'm sticking with that. i loved the different shades of blue/silver together. Kind of monochromatic. 

When dressing up for date night during the week, it can be hard depending on how dressy or nice you want to look. Psssst how amazing is this rose gold wood watch? Yes that's right, wood watch! Super unique right? I absolutely love the color and the metallic face, while the Swarovski crystals are a glam touch. (Hello, this is Bedazzles After Dark after all! But I think my favorite part about it, is that it's so lightweight. And since I'm such a big fan of oversize watches, I get the look without all the weight on my wrist. Did I mention they have ladies and men's options? Yes, please!

I don't know about you, but sometimes I feel my best in a great pair of jeans and a comfy tee. I had a girls night out with a friend in town and as much as I wanted to get dressed up, this outfit was just as chic to me and allowed me to eat truffle fries. Okay LOTS of truffle fries.

Outfit Post: Jumpsuit Lovin'

Remember when I talked about this lattice cut out halter jumpsuit on my My Carolina Today segment? Well, the truth is, I basically haven't taken it off since then. I've worn it dressed up and casually (aka the perfect vacay item) and I swear if I could wear it to work, workout in and sleep, I would! It is SO comfy. Which is why I thought it was the perfect choice for my first night of #SBScon!

I'll admit - sometimes I dance to the beat of a different drum when it comes to my outfits. I'm experimental and I wear things because I like them, not necessarily because I want other people to like them (though I love hearing that they do!) This outfit is kind of one of those times.

I know belt bags aren't for everyone, but trust me when I tell you that you should try them. I officially have 3 and I am OBSESSED with them. They're so perfect for a night out with girls (hello double fisting the champs) but these days you can find such cute options that look more modern chic and less "I'm-a-tourist-at-Disneyland"

Do you have a style or piece of clothing that you were scared to wear at first, but now you love? I feel like that's the case with everything in this post (jumpsuit, belt bag, mules) Which is why I really encourage you gals to take a chance on your fashion choices. Even if it's just a small one. You never know when you might find your new favorite thing!

Outfit Post: Pink, White & Blue with BooHoo

I can't believe we're already at Monday again! Thankfully, this pom pom trim romper from BooHoo is lifting my spirits. We went to a concert in the middle of Downtown Raleigh on the 4th of July, so I finally had the chance to sport some "music festival" style.

I know that it's tradition to wear Red, White & Blue for 4th of July, but since I have very little red and lots of pink, I just switched it out and still felt festive. How cute is this pom pom romper? I wore it Saturday night when we went to the Barenaked Ladies concert at Red Hat. Which P.S., is the perfect summer venue! The weather, the city lights, the fireworks. It was a fantastic Saturday night. Plus, I finally got the chance to sport these new ankle booties, which I walked around Downtown all night in and my feet were still comfy.
