SBS NC Meet Up Recap: Kendra Scott Durham

A few weeks ago, Emily & I got to host the Southern Blog Society's NC spring meet up. (You can join here) I've said before, I'll say it again. These ladies are ah-mazing. Even though we don't get together as often as I wish, they are so much fun to be around. I'm so lucky that a few of them have turned into #IRL friends!

The Kendra Scott store in Durham at Streets of Southpoint was so kind and gracious to host us. Logan created a fabulous night for us blogging gals that was complete with a first-peek at the new Via Maya Kendra Scott collection, the best cake pops I've ever tasted, dangerous delicious sangria (I may or may not have had 3.. okay 4 glasses) and some photo booth fun. Check out a few pics from the event and a few of my favorite Kendra Scott pieces that I fell in love with!

Hands down these cake pops were the bomb. I texted Em that I was actually sad I didn't get 2.

Insta-Life [photos]

April has been one of those amazingly crazy months where it seemed that every event was happening all at once. It was a really fun last 29 days.. But I'm so thankful that it's almost over! Here's a peek into my instagram diary for April.

The first of 12 (yes count them, TWELVE) April work events started off with a bang. And a delicious cold Hell or High Watermelon brew.

A few days before Gisele's retirement, I decided to take my next career move 😂. Just kidding. But I did have fun walking in Parlor Dry Bar's spring fashion show for The Impeccable Pig.

I just had to have this amazing multi-color cork clutch that I found at Moon & Lola's new Cameron Village store. Isn't the gold tassel just the icing on the cake?

We had our Southern Blog Society NC Meet Up this month at the Kendra Scott Southpoint store in Durham. More on that to come!

Aren't these Kendra Scott earrings from the new Via Maya collection just fantastic?
Shop them here: Ear Cuffs || Studs

Sometimes we just need a Monday reminder to keep the Good Vibes coming. Thanks Happy + Hale.

Going for the gold on my desk! Notebook || Stapler || Business Card Holder || Sharpie

Had an absolute blast hosting The Impeccable Pig's birthday party! Here's a sneak peek of my outfit.

Outfit Post: Springtime Tights

Even though it's Spring, this past weekend we had a little dip in temperatures. With the rain and highs in the lower 50's, it felt a bit more like winter. So here's my favorite winter dressing tip, that can be used for those cool spring days too. Tights

Just because it's a bit cooler, doesn't necessarily mean you can't reach for your favorite dress. Add a pair of thick opaque tights and your favorite jacket or blazer, and you'll be good to go warm!

Forever 21 Embellished Dress (so old I'm almost embarrassed to tell you!)
Zara Studded Booties (old - try these)
Vintage Clutch
Simply Vera Vera Wang Tights
Blu Bijoux "Bubble" bangles c/o Max & Chloe

See? A simple yet chic outfit, transformed for winter or spring all with the slip (on) of some tights. P.S. these Simply Vera ones are my favorite. They keep me warm and they're not totally see through! Here's to the start of a fabulous week!
