Psssst how amazing is this rose gold wood watch? Yes that's right, wood watch! Super unique right? I absolutely love the color and the metallic face, while the Swarovski crystals are a glam touch. (Hello, this is Bedazzles After Dark after all! But I think my favorite part about it, is that it's so lightweight. And since I'm such a big fan of oversize watches, I get the look without all the weight on my wrist. Did I mention they have ladies and men's options? Yes, please!

I don't know about you, but sometimes I feel my best in a great pair of jeans and a comfy tee. I had a girls night out with a friend in town and as much as I wanted to get dressed up, this outfit was just as chic to me and allowed me to eat truffle fries. Okay LOTS of truffle fries.

Outfit Post: Lemons On My Pants

If you live in Charleston, I basically have major [blog] envy. There are SO MANY gorgeous places to take photos! We walked around Sunday afternoon before heading home from SBScon and I fell in love with Waterfront Park (aka the Pineapple Fountain). Just freaking gorgeous! Thankfully, Lindsay was with me and snapped some photos underneath these bowing trees. 

Also I have lemons on my jeans and clearly, I couldn't let this outfit pass by the blog!

You guys... My search for the perfect distressed skinny jean is OVER. I've been looking for months (a year really) for the perfect pair of skinny jeans, that were lightly distressed (apparently some designers go crazy with a blade) and still wearable for date night (a.k.a. a nice dark rinse)

I scored these destroyed beauties from non other than... American Eagle! Yes, I know! I was just as surprised as you were. I had pretty much exhausted all my options (within a reasonable budget that is) and I popped into their store just to "see what they had".  I had no idea they had really stepped up their denim game! Right now they've got every style, shape, color. Really anything you could want. I was so impressed I bought these grey skinny jeggings (wearing them today) as well as these destroyed light wash skinny jeans.

Date night is one of my favorite nights, but it's doubly exciting when we do a Double Date night. I threw on my new jeans, my favorite white blouse and some printed pumps. All I needed after that was a gold necklace and sequin clutch to finish it off. In my head, this is the dressed up date night version of "Jeans & a Tee". Not too fancy... Not too casual.  Super comfy, yet you still look very put together.

Although jeans and a tee is one of my favorite and go-to wardrobe choices, sometimes they just need a little something extra. I stepped up my casual game with my favorite GiGi clutch in a bright, bold lime green color along with this fabulous statement necklace from Prima Donna Jewelry. It elevates the whole look just a tad, don't you think?

 

I'm so happy I scored this color for spring. It's been going with everything in my closet from dresses to pants to more casual evenings. I'm also in love with their summer colors like indigo and salmon. So cheerful!

 

Another day of no internet or television. Things have been pretty quiet at my house... I guess it's a nice change but I was just getting into a Scandal marathon on Netflix.. now I feel like I'm going through withdrawls. I need some Olivia Pope!! Phew! It's been a whirlwind of a week and I apologize for being absent last week on the blog. Lots of transition happening and some really great opportunities for BAD have been popping up lately. I can't wait to share them with you!

I think my draw to it is that it's incredibly special and sort of "one-of-a-kind", making it hard to have a "Who Wore It Best" moment. Enter House of Landor. When I pinned this pin of Shenae Grimes a few weeks ago - I was really inspired by her look. Jeans, a tee and a blazer is one of my favorite outfits. It can be casual, yet once you add the blazer your ensemble becomes instantly polished. Definitely planning on this being my fall uniform. I'm usually rocking a statement necklace, but this time I decided to add layers of gold necklaces along with metallic accessories.

 

And can we please talk about how in love with my new monogram necklace I am? I guess since I actually live in the South, it was finally time to embrace at least 1 southern tradition. This oversized piece from oNecklace has been in SERIOUS rotation lately. I absolutely love it. It's so perfect on it's own or layering with other pieces. And it comes in this super cute gift box!
