Outfit Post: If You Can't Beat The Summer Heat...

Forever 21 racerback tank (old)
Zara hot pink maxi skirt (last seen here - similar here)
Prabal Gurung for Target metallic sandals (similar here)
Missoni for Target silk scarf (find on eBay here) || Vintage bag || Apricot Lane black cat eye sunglasses || oNecklace large gold cursive monogram necklace c/o || Michael Kors "Bradshaw" Rose Gold Watch (obsessing over this version!!)

If you follow me on instagram then you know that one of my best friends got married this weekend! I had such great time dancing with old (and new!) friends, eating amazing food (grown on her mom's farm!) and just seeing her so incredibly happy. It was a great weekend.

So yesterday was spent relaxing at the pool and watching lots of football. At this point, I figure I may as well embrace these 85+ degree temperatures. So a breezy maxi and lightweight tank allowed me to sweat slightly less than usual yesterday.

I start my new job this morning as a stylist at the Apricot Lane North Hills store! So if you're around Raleigh today or this week - stop by! Happy Monday everyone! xo

Pinspiration Outfit Post: Blazer, Jeans, Tee, Repeat

Express Tuxedo Blazer (old - similar here)
AG Jeans Pocket V-neck White Tee c/o LuckyFABB
Express "Stella" Jean Legging (old - new style here)
Sole Society Platform Sandal (old style)
oNecklace Gold Monogram Necklace c/o || Sideways Cross Necklace (similar here) || ILY Couture Arrow Ring c/o || Marc Jacobs x Neiman Marcus rose gold clutch (similar)

When I pinned this pin of Shenae Grimes a few weeks ago - I was really inspired by her look. Jeans, a tee and a blazer is one of my favorite outfits. It can be casual, yet once you add the blazer your ensemble becomes instantly polished. Definitely planning on this being my fall uniform. I'm usually rocking a statement necklace, but this time I decided to add layers of gold necklaces along with metallic accessories.

And can we please talk about how in love with my new monogram necklace I am? I guess since I actually live in the South, it was finally time to embrace at least 1 southern tradition. This oversized piece from oNecklace has been in SERIOUS rotation lately. I absolutely love it. It's so perfect on it's own or layering with other pieces. And it comes in this super cute gift box! I seriously recommend you adding this piece to your jewelry box - even if you're not in the south ;)

P.S. thanks for all your birthday wishes on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram yesterday! I felt extremely loved :) You guys are the bestest! Happy Tuesday! xoxo
