You guys... I'm SO excited for my event happening Thursday at The Impeccable Pig's Cameron Village location. I stopped in there last night (where I picked up this little ensemble!) and there are so many amazing fall pieces! How fantastic are these two pieces? Literally the second the manager Allison showed them to me, I was like "I have to HAVE these!" Together, they're absolutely perfect for this transitional time. You know the awkward it's still cool in the mornings, but warm in afternoon days. I love how edgy they look when paired with the moto buckle boots.

But I'll still be able to wear them well into the fall/winter months. That skirt will look great with a pair of tights and brown riding boots. And the tank I can rock with jeans, a blazer and booties. Plus, they can both still carry me through the spring months too. Got to love versatile pieces!

Outfit Post: It's Black & White

A few weeks ago, I got to host The Impeccable Pig Raleigh's birthday party. I've said it once, I'll say it again - this store is beyond fantastic. Not only do they have the cutest styles that are right on trend, but their prices.... right up a normal gal like me's alley! Usually, I find the brightest, most neon item in the store. But this time, I reached for a complete black and white ensemble that felt incredibly chic.

First a big thank you to everyone who came out to the birthday party! It was so much fun to meet all of you!

After I picked out these two separate pieces, the girls at TIP said they wouldn't have thought to put them together, but that they loved it!. And that's why I love what I do. My mind tends to gravitate towards putting together outfits that are unexpected. You might not have ever thought would certain things would work, but when you try it on and wear it with confidence, they totally do. Even though my outfit is black and white, that's not how I tend to think about fashion or getting dressed. I always say it should be fun and experimental - take a risk!

I'm excited because I've got these pieces coming up in a few future posts so I can show how I would style them separately. Can't wait to share! Happy Wednesday everyone!

SBS NC Meet Up Recap: Kendra Scott Durham

A few weeks ago, Emily & I got to host the Southern Blog Society's NC spring meet up. (You can join here) I've said before, I'll say it again. These ladies are ah-mazing. Even though we don't get together as often as I wish, they are so much fun to be around. I'm so lucky that a few of them have turned into #IRL friends!

The Kendra Scott store in Durham at Streets of Southpoint was so kind and gracious to host us. Logan created a fabulous night for us blogging gals that was complete with a first-peek at the new Via Maya Kendra Scott collection, the best cake pops I've ever tasted, dangerous delicious sangria (I may or may not have had 3.. okay 4 glasses) and some photo booth fun. Check out a few pics from the event and a few of my favorite Kendra Scott pieces that I fell in love with!

Outfit Post: Coral Ruffle Hem Dress & Cork Clutch

With spring time officially here and summer right around the corner, you know what that means... It's time for dresses from The Impeccable Pig! I seriously don't know what I would do without this store. They have the cutest stuff. I know that no matter what event I'm planning to go to, I can always find something I need (and want!) there. I wore this dress for a fashion show last week and just had to have it so I bought it right off... well myself!

Before we get to the dress, can I just say how fabulous my new bag is? I'm predicting that cork is going to be a hot must-have trend for summer. And the gold metallic tassel... don't even get me started!

I LOVE everything about this dress. The drop waist. The sweet ruffle trim. The color. I mean you know how much I love bold, bright and neon pieces. Can you say obsessed? But if that isn't exactly your favorite, this gorgeous coral color is a happy medium. I just talked with the Raleigh store manager and she said they recently got the same style, in a pretty royal blue! 

Speaking of the Raleigh store.... The Impeccable Pig's Cameron Village location is having it's 2nd birthday! They wanted the throw a big bash to celebrate and asked me to host. I'll be there this Sunday from 2 pm - 5 pm, helping you pick out some awesome spring looks. You can shop full priced items at 15% off, listen to some fab music, eat food from at least 3 different food trucks and more! I really hope to see you there!!

Moon And Lola Cameron Village Store Opening

A few weeks ago, Moon And Lola invited me to their media preview night before they opened their doors to the public. If there's one thing I love, it's an excuse to put on a party dress, sip cocktails and buy pretty jewelry. 

The new store is absolutely beautiful. It's filled with all things girly, shiny, sparkly and of course... PINK! I love it! The girls at M&L really outdid themselves. The "Lola Loves" room (above) has to be my favorite part. Everything that owner Kelly (a.k.a. Lola) is currently obsessed with will be housed in here. I'm officially using it as inspiration for my new home office.
