Last weekend we went to visit my Mother-In-Law who had a grease fire accident in her kitchen. Thankfully, she's doing okay but it was a super low key and relaxed visit catching up with Bill's side of the fam. My MIL is a huge hat person (Uh hello... she's from Kentucky!) so I brought my new Sole Society hat with me because I knew she'd appreciate it. She (and Bill's sister) loved it!

 

Remember when I professed my love for the GiGi New York fall 2013 collection? I knew the burgundy color would be the perfect color not only for fall but for FSU game day. The cross body style is my new favorite thing to carry. It's so nice to have your hands (or the crook of your elbow) free. Let's discuss how obsessed with GiGi New York's new fall collection I am. These colors are rich, luxurious and absolutely gorgeous. The burgundy is spot on for the oxblood fall trend and you'll remember that emerald was named by Pantone as the color of the year. And grey goes with practically everything in your wardrobe. I'm not even in lust.. I'm in full on love.

 

All the styles above are available in each of the fall colors. I've got my eye on the emerald Hayden satchel and the burgundy Elle Cross body (also comes in a gorgeous saddle tan color) But truth be told, any of these beauties would be a welcome addition to my collection! So pretty!

Colored Tights are one of my favorite accessories for fall/winter. It's such an inexpensive way to add a pop of fun to any look - I usually buy mine from Target or Kohl's and they last me several seasons.

 

But, I don't know why I didn't think of colored tights for a Game Day Outfit! What an easy peasy way to dress in your team's colors! Just imagine how fab you'd look in a gray dress and blue tights if you're colors are Blue & White. Or a black skirt & top with red tights? Super cutesy right?! Plus it's universally flattering for anyone!

 

Since mustard & oxblood Garnet & Gold are one of the hottest pairings right now, it was only fitting for an FSU Game Day. This dress from Twelve Saturdays has been in heavy rotation in my wardrobe right now - and not just because it's gold ;) I love the ruffle detail, the length and the longer sleeves. I'm realizing that I need more dresses with long sleeves! They're a fab transition piece for in between temps.
