We've been having quite the heat wave here in NC and this was the outfit I wore on the day we closed on our home when it was close to 80 outside. This Judith March top is from their Spring/Summer collection & I've had it since March. I think it's one of those super amazing versatile pieces that works from season to season. I wore it on a colder day here and then last week with shorts! I love the crochet trim and the color which makes it the perfect item to pair with almost anything. And the good news is it's now available! Also I know you guys have seen this GiGi bag all over my instagram (here & here) and going crazy for it. It's my new favorite piece and I seriously hardly leave home without it. I want it in every color!!

The weather hasn't exactly been cooperating with the calendar lately so my compromise right now are ankle booties with shorts and skirts. I think these shorter boots are a fabulous way to transition your spring/summer clothes well into fall. Even adding tights underneath dresses and shorts can help push those pieces into other seasons. Plus I think we're all aware of my bootie obsession. I just can't help it - they go with everything! What about you.. how are you sporting your ankle boots as of late? 

 

We head back to Raleigh on the red eye tonight. Boo-hoo. We've seriously had the best time here in LA. I've been a bit absent on social media and to be honest - it's been really nice to just hit all our favorite spots, old hangouts and spend some quality time with friends Maybe I can make us miss our flight and we'll just have to stay an extra day.
