Happy Hump Day! We're having gorgeous and amazing weather here in Southern California - and of course I'm stuck inside because it's a Wednesday! So while I'm dreaming of frolicking around in the Cali sunshine, here's a little fashion editorial to get you in the mood for summer.

Fashion Editorial: Eva Mendes in Marie Claire March 2012

Happy Friday everyone! I don't know about you but 4 day weeks are so incredibly nice. But they always make the following week go by at a snail's pace. I've been in a bit of a funk lately and I'm not sure if it's the chilly weather we've had here in LA or just a general case of the blahs. Either way, I've been craving a mini-vacay or just a play day at the beach. So imagine the case of the green-eyed-monster when I saw the 2012 March issue of Marie Claire. Eva Mendes (and may I add current Ryan Gosling squeeze - green-eyed-monster!) was photographed here in LA in a series of 1950's inspired shots. Aside from the fact that she is ridiculously gorgeous, these photos had me dreaming of a Palm Springs weekend, complete with margaritas by the pool, Sinatra music and champagne brunches. Plus what gal wouldn't want a jeweled bodysuit by D&G?! So take a break from your long week for a little vintage getaway.
