As much as I seriously hate to admit it.. I'm glad that we're right on the edge of Fall. I'm so ready for Pumpkin Spice Lattes, Sweaters over leggings, boots, scarves, crisp weather and color changing leaves. So in honor of the technical "last weekend of summer" and the hopes that we'll finally get some cooler weather (these 85+ degree days with humidity are killing me), I wanted to share this fun fashion editorial from June's issue of Vogue Netherlands.

 

The always gorgeous Erin Wasson shows off her flexibility and gorgeous beach curls proving that summer really is all about letting loose and having fun.

Fashion Editorial: Cameron Russell in Vogue Germany July 2012

It's true. There's nothing I heart more more than lots and lots of sparkly things. Which is exactly what I got when I came across this editorial. American model stunner Cameron Russell looks absolutely fabulous in July's issue of Vogue Germany that celebrates all things sequined, glittered and shiny. Shot by famed photographer Michelangelo di Battista, the editorial features some Major League fashion hitters (Versace, Cavalli, Pucci, Prada, Dolce & Gabbana etc...) with gorgeous statement jewels (Cartier, Lorraine Schwartz, Bulgari etc...) that make me want to get dressed up for a night on the town. It's kind of hard not to fall in love with everything right? Gorgeous waves, fresh (but barely there) makeup and bedazzled pieces - what more could a gal want?

Fashion Editorial: 'Hotel California' in Marie Claire Italia May 2012

Happy Hump Day! We're having gorgeous and amazing weather here in Southern California - and of course I'm stuck inside because it's a Wednesday! So while I'm dreaming of frolicking around in the Cali sunshine, here's a little fashion editorial to get you in the mood for summer.

A gorgeous Heather Marks turns heads as a redhead beauty wearing gorgeous 60's inspired pieces. Bonus points for it being California inspired and from an issue of Italian Marie Claire. If Mad Men and Los Angeles had a love child - this would be it. Enjoy! xoxo

Fashion Editorial: Olivia Palermo & Model Boyfriend in Lifestyle Mirror

It's no secret that I have my fair share of style crushes. These handful of women seem to nail every single outfit with effortless ease making my green eyed monster grow larger with each ensemble they sport. Olivia Palermo is one of those ladies. The girl has impeccable taste, lust-worthy hair and a wardrobe full of highs and lows that I would kill for... Here she demonstrates just how ridiculously attractive she and her model boyfriend, Johannes Huebl, really are. Photographed at Le Meurice in Paris (of course!) for Lifestyle Mirror, OP & boy toy do nothing and look pretty "hide out" from the paparazzi with a super cute spread of lovely photos. Fashion Editorial: Eva Mendes in Marie Claire March 2012

Happy Friday everyone! I don't know about you but 4 day weeks are so incredibly nice. But they always make the following week go by at a snail's pace. I've been in a bit of a funk lately and I'm not sure if it's the chilly weather we've had here in LA or just a general case of the blahs. Either way, I've been craving a mini-vacay or just a play day at the beach. So imagine the case of the green-eyed-monster when I saw the 2012 March issue of Marie Claire. Eva Mendes (and may I add current Ryan Gosling squeeze - green-eyed-monster!) was photographed here in LA in a series of 1950's inspired shots. Aside from the fact that she is ridiculously gorgeous, these photos had me dreaming of a Palm Springs weekend, complete with margaritas by the pool, Sinatra music and champagne brunches. Plus what gal wouldn't want a jeweled bodysuit by D&G?! So take a break from your long week for a little vintage getaway.

Fashion Editorial: Super Star in January Elle Denmark

Yay! Friday is officially here! I don’t know about you guys but this has seemed like the longest week ever... Plus my computer has been at the repair shop which means I haven’t blogged or pinned ALL WEEK! I think I’m going through serious withdrawals... At least our weather has taken a turn. The past few days we’ve had warm temps and lots of sunshine! I hope this weekend will be spent lying on the beach enjoying the last few days of January. You guys know how much I love Fashion Editorials and with our summer-like weather I thought this would be a perfect one to share. Elle Denmark just ran this gorgeous (and COLORFUL) beauty spread in their January issue. I hope it brightens your day as much as it’s brightened mine! Happy Weekend Lovelies!!

Freaky Friday: Super Natural Editorial in Dazed & Confused

Happy Friday the 13th!! Since today is a semi-spooky day I thought I'd share an eccentric and kooky fashion editorial I came across in January's Dazed & Confused issue. Model Julia Frauche was shot by Yelena Yemchuk for the spread titled "Super Natural" . It's a resort/tribal themed shoot but the makeup is absolutely stunning and extremely bizarre... perfect for today! Happy Friday Lovelies - It's the weekend!!

Fashion Editorial: Eva Longoria in July 2011 InStyle

By now you know that I love anything glamorous and out of control gorgeous. Eva Longoria's July InStyle editorial, titled "Keeping It Cool", is no exception. I was pretty pumped when I received the mag in my mailbox and saved it to read for my Palm Springs getaway a few weekends ago. The cover was just meh but the inside photos were a whole different ballgame. The sultry and super sexy spread features Eva wearing fabulous swimsuits with metallic accessories (sunglasses, watches, necklaces and cuffs) as she poses at a resort in Cabo San Lucas. I'm not sure if it was the 115 degree heat I was sitting in but it made me want to hop on my own plane for some R&R Cabo style. She's pretty candid in the interview regarding her divorce, but I'm more interested in these amazing shots by photographer Michelangelo Di Battista. p.s. props to stylist Haidee Findlay-Levin - she totally nailed it.

Probably my favorite shot of the bunch. I need those sunglasses and those cuffs.

Freaky Friday: Lady Gaga's Harper's Bazaar Shoot

I feel like you either love or hate Lady Gaga... there's no real in between or gray area with her. I happen to be at the furthest end of the love spectrum. So much that I dressed up as her for Halloween (I made my costume.. so much fun!) I love that she's just bizzare, strange, weirdly pretty and of course I enjoy seeing what kind of fashion creations she's going to wear next. In her most recent magazine interview with Harper's Bazaar, Lady Gaga poses in custom made designer pieces while explaining that a dead Alexander McQueen wrote her "Born This Way" track and that she thinks pop stars having plastic surgery "promotes insecurity." But don't mistake those horns and bones she's been sporting on her face and shoulders lately as plastic surgery or altered appearance. Lady Gaga says those are merely "Artistic Expression" To be honest it's refreshing to hear someone discourage fixing your body and embracing what you've got. Fashion Editorial: Natalie Portman Gorgeousness

Not only is Natalie Portman one of Hollywood's cutest actresses, she loves a bargain just as much as the next girl! Here she is rocking a look from Rodarte for Target - the mustard slip dress

Natalie showed up on Saturday at the New York Time's 9th annual Arts & Leisure weekend pairing this $40 dress with a chunky belt, black sweater, tights and pumps. These are all items any girl can find in her closet to give their outfit that extra "oomph". A simple look that looks effortless, comfortable and fashion affordable - Always a plus.

I've always been a little enchanted by Meryl Streep - I think she is one of the most amazing actresses ever. She's always made fantastic movies (Out of Africa, Death Becomes Her and The Devil Wears Prada (obvi...) are total favs of mine) and her new one It's Complicated looks very Something's Gotta Give (practically an obsession of mine and my college roommates) :) But when I saw Meryl on the cover of January's Vanity Fair - I was blown away! She looks absolutely gorgeous. AND she's botox free which is practically unheard of in Hollywood! Wow!

Both images are part of a 30 year portfolio photographed by Brigitte Lacombe. The January 2010 issue of Vanity Fair comes out December 8th but you can read a preview of the article of Meryl here. I think she looks just as stunning, if not more, than she did in 79. Thoughts???
