Outfit Post: Pink, White & Blue with BooHoo

I can't believe we're already at Monday again! Thankfully, this pom pom trim romper from BooHoo is lifting my spirits. We went to a concert in the middle of Downtown Raleigh on the 4th of July, so I finally had the chance to sport some "music festival" style.

I know that it's tradition to wear Red, White & Blue for 4th of July, but since I have very little red and lots of pink, I just switched it out and still felt festive. How cute is this pom pom romper? I wore it Saturday night when we went to the Barenaked Ladies concert at Red Hat. Which P.S., is the perfect summer venue! The weather, the city lights, the fireworks. It was a fantastic Saturday night. Plus, I finally got the chance to sport these new ankle booties, which I walked around Downtown all night in and my feet were still comfy.

Outfit Post: Neon Orange & White Skater Dress

I'm still going through Charleston withdrawals from this past weekend's Southern Blog Society conference (or #SBScon as you may have seen floating around the blogsphere) There's something special about that little city. It's charming, beautiful, magical, and let's not forget hot as hell! Hence the crazed half-curled, half-uh-what? hairstyle happening in these photos.

That's okay though. Let's be honest. We all know I like my hair a little did-she-even-wash-or-brush-that-mane look. The first full day of the conference was jam packed with speakers, panels, networking, oh and champagne. Lots of champagne. Of course I had to wear something bright, fun and oh-so-Bedazzles After Dark. As always, The Impeccable Pig swooped in and saved the day with this fabulous neon skater dress.

If it's neon and from TIP, chance are pretty good I'm going to love it. I made this dress daytime wearable with neutral accessories, messy hair and minimal makeup. Just lots of mascara and several swipes of fuchsia lipstick. 

I don't know what it is, but I love the combination of an orange/coral dress with hot pink lipstick. Seem weird at all? Okay good because I don't plan on stopping. It leaves you feeling sassy with a capital Sssss!

You guys, there's so much I wanted to say about #SBScon. It was absolutely amazing. I could seriously go on and on, but more on that later.

Outfit Post: The Perfect Gypsy Dress

Summer nights were made for drinking cold drink, hanging with friends and gypsy dancing to really good music at concerts. If there's one thing I love, it's a Stevie Nicks inspired outfit.

I mean, what better way to start your day than channeling the gorgeous goddess that is Stevie Nicks? I love putting on some Fleetwood Mac and gypsy dancing all my troubles away. This crochet trim option from The Impeccable Pig is beyond perfect for just that. I also love that it's slightly oversized and I can wear a super cute bralette underneath it. A little bit sexy, a little bit boho and a whole lotta comfy.

I spent an absolutely incredible weekend in Charleston attending The Southern Blog Society's conference. So. Much. GIRLTIME. I met some fabulous new ladies, caught up with friends, drank [one too many?] cocktails and learned a whole heck of a lot. I can't wait to share all the outfit details and my new friends with ya. If I love them, (the outfits AND the girls) then I know you will too.
