Brunch Date x The Stylist LA

Do you ever have those moments when you just feel so behind?! That's me right now.. like I didn't even realize that today was actually the 1st of April! This whole moving thing really has me out of wack! Anyways, let's just pretend we're still in March for this month's collab with The Stylist LA ;)

Well we're officially in Wedding season! Which means luncheons, brunches, showers and more! When I visited the Stylist LA's office to choose my next look, we thought this would perfect for a dressed up Spring Occasion.

Dress: Parker Bow Back Dress in Light Pink - borrow for $60
Studded Ankle Booties: Zara
Bag: DSW (old)
Bracelets: Gifted from my BFF

Attention all bride-to-bes! This would be SUCH an adorbs dress for your next wedding soiree! So perfect for a daytime bridal luncheon or wedding shower. I am in love with the open back because the bow still gives a slight hint of sexiness but definitely doesn't overdo it. (Plus with a little help from double stick tape, I was able to wear a regular bra - bonus!) I also like the tiered middle because it breaks up the body a bit and hides problem areas well!

But if you're not engaged or already married - don't worry. You can still totally rock this dress. I borrowed it for a nice rooftop brunch while we toasted a great friend. I wanted to create a slightly more casual look, so I paired it with messy waves and my favorite studded ankle booties. But throw on a pair of high heels sandals with an elegant pony and you've got yourself a surefire fancy-fied (yes I just made that word up) outfit.

If you need more information on The Stylist LA check it out here and here. I guarantee they're going to be your new go-to for outfits. I've got about a bazillion weddings this summer so I can't wait to see what they'll have next!

Valentine's Day Date x The Stylist LA

If you're following me on Instagram, then you saw a sneak peek of a fun new project I'm starting up with The Stylist L.A. And I'm so excited to launch it today!

We all have those special events that happen every month - you know the ones that are constantly on the calendar like weddings, bridal & baby showers, graduations or holidays? Well as much of a budget shopper that I try to be, I still get the itch to purchase a new dress for every new occasion. However, Bill and our budget don't exactly agree with this philosophy. Enter the answer to your (and your wallet's) predicament: The Stylist LA - a high-end dress borrowing service

The Stylist LA allows women to borrow fabulous designer dresses at a fraction of what you'd fork over in the store. Rentals last for 7 days, arrive with a return envelope and there's no need to worry about dry cleaning the piece because it's already factored into your price! But it doesn't end there ladies - you can consult with a personal stylist directly that will find exactly what you're looking for. And if you live in the L.A. area you can make an appointment to try on dresses in person or have them come directly to you!

So BAD has partnered with The Stylist LA to bring you a monthly series on how you can benefit from this service - especially when you've got an upcoming event to plan for! Our first occasion is an exciting one: Valentine's Day!

Dress: Parker Silk Keyhole Shirt Dress in Hot Pink - borrow for $60
Nude Pumps: Boutique 9 Orson Pump via DSW
Bag: c/o GiGi New York (right now use code DARK for a free gift with purchase)
Watch: Caravelle by Bulova c/o LuckyFABB

I must admit - I'm not usually a Valentine's Day kind of gal. But I do love a fancy dinner date with my husband. And for some reason, this year I'm really excited about it. So when I visited The Stylist LA's showroom and spotted this brand new Parker dress, I knew it would be perfect for a v-day.

Of course, I'm drawn to the hot pink since it's my signature color - but that's not the only reason I love it. The long sleeves and elastic waistband make this flowy piece so incredibly comfy (meaning I can eat all I want for dinner!) And can we always talk about how amazing the neckline is? I'm normally not the biggest fan of deep v-necks on my body - I feel a bit self conscious about that area. But this one has a perfectly placed closure that offers a sexy silhouette yet makes me feel covered in all the right places. Just the right amount of sass for date night, don't you think? Best news yet? The Stylist LA offers this dress in TONS of other colors.

A little birdie just told me that a ton of dresses are going to be added to the site this week! So make sure to check other Valentine's Day options like this one or this one. You seriously can't go wrong with any of her picks. And I guarantee that you'll always get TONS of compliments at your next event. Make sure you stay tuned for next month's pick! And don't forget to follow The Stylist LA on Facebook & twitter for new arrivals & updates!
