Outfit Post: YOOX Graphic Tee

Graphic Tee: c/o YOOX from NYFW
Blazer: Zara (last seen here)
Shorts: DIY
Booties: "Ivy" c/o DMSX (now on sale!)

It seems crazy to post this outfit the day before December 1st, but I guess that's what happens when you live in LA & get a heat wave the week before Thanksgiving. Before our Washington trip, Bill and I went for a little Pre-Christmas shopping. My neon blazer came in handy when the sun ventured behind the clouds and the high 70's temps cooled off slightly. Plus these booties were surprisingly SO comfy as we strolled around the promenade for several hours.

Do you guys have a hard time buying gifts for guys? I'm the WORST. Bill has a birthday 10 days before Christmas and I never know what to get him. It doesn't help that he never really "wants" anything either... At this point, I'm totally open to suggestions - so please! Send them along.. I need all the help I can get! xoxo

Game Day Wear: Garnet Tights

Dress: c/o Twelve Saturdays
Tights: Target
Riding Boots: Etienne Aigner via DSW
Arrow Hair Clip: c/o TeamTime

Colored Tights are one of my favorite accessories for fall/winter. It's such an inexpensive way to add a pop of fun to any look - I usually buy mine from Target or Kohl's and they last me several seasons.

But, I don't know why I didn't think of colored tights for a Game Day Outfit! What an easy peasy way to dress in your team's colors! Just imagine how fab you'd look in a gray dress and blue tights if you're colors are Blue & White. Or a black skirt & top with red tights? Super cutesy right?! Plus it's universally flattering for anyone!

Since mustard & oxblood Garnet & Gold are one of the hottest pairings right now, it was only fitting for an FSU Game Day. This dress from Twelve Saturdays has been in heavy rotation in my wardrobe right now - and not just because it's gold ;) I love the ruffle detail, the length and the longer sleeves. I'm realizing that I need more dresses with long sleeves! They're a fab transition piece for in between temps.

Have you tried colored tights before? What did you you think.. do you love or not so much?? If you're not 100% comfortable with colored tights yet.. try wearing them with boots, like above, to ease your way into them. Happy Wednesday lovelies!

Video: Music Pick Me Up

Let the record show:
a) I'm not into country music AT ALL
b) I can't get enough of ABC's Nashville [which probably means they'll cancel it]
c) I've had this song on repeat since the 2nd episode aired.

I literally get goosebumps every time I listen to it. It's sad, haunting and absolutely ahhhhhmazing.

GiGi New York Uber Clutch {and promo code!}

I'm pretty sure you guys know how much I love GiGi New York bags. They're totally gorgeous, made of the brightest, boldest colored leather and are a total affordable addition to your closet. Plus they offer a gold personalization on almost every piece, which is just the icing on the cake for me. So when they asked me to review their latest addition to the GiGi family, of course I jumped at the opportunity! Read below for some photos as well as a promo code that will get you 20% off!

This style is stunning and might be my favorite one yet! "The Uber Clutch" is, literally, a big sister to the "All In One Bag" that offers a bit more room and an total "luxe" quality. It's about 4 inches wider and 2 inches taller, making the interior perfect for carrying necessary essentials, plus anything else you might pick up along the way.

It comes in a variety of colors in beautiful French or Italian leather. I picked "Indigo", but there's lots of choices so you're bound to find the color that will fit into your style. Another super rad detail is that each bag comes with interchangeable tassels, one in it's color and one shimmering gold. This feature can transition the bag from day to night, though I think it looks kind of cool with both on at once. It's a lovely accessory for special events and I'm already trying to discover ways to get it into my holiday wardrobe. In fact when I got the bag, I was inspired to wear an all black outfit, letting the blue just pop!

And GiGi is so excited about launching this new product, that they've agreed to give BAD readers a special promo code for your order! How fabulous is that?!

Just enter DAZZLE at checkout to receive 20% off your order {until December 3rd} I hope you guys will take advantage of this awesome new bag and add it to your collection! Make sure to tweet or instagram your picture and tag me (@NRich14) so I can feature you on the site. Hope this made your Monday a bit brighter!! xo

What I'm Wearing This Fall - Guest Post

Don't miss my Guest Post on the lovely Sarah's blog Coming Unstitched. I'm sharing with you my favorite fall picks that I've been wearing all season long (plus some ideas on how to wear them!) So head over and check it out! :)

How To Wear Sparkly Shoes - Part I

Glitter Shoes: Sole Society (get $25 off any SS purchase until 11/19 - click here)
Boyfriend Jeans: Express (old)
Tuxedo Blazer: Express (old)
Bag: c/o GiGi New York

After posting about these festive sparkling babies from Sole Society last week, a few of you lovelies commented about how you weren't sure if you could rock them... I personally think that any girl would look amazing wearing glitter shoes - no matter what! But it got me thinking... and I came up with an idea for a new series called "How To Wear." I'll showcase different ways to pull off a trend that will bring versatility to that item and prove that anyone can add it it to their closet. I hope this will inspire you to dive deep and maybe step outside your comfort zone to try something new! Let's get started shall we??

The combination of Sparkly Shoes, Jeans & a Blazer is one of my personal go-to looks. It's super easy, semi-casual & so much fun. Plus, what gal doesn't own a blazer & a white tee? Most times I wear a skinnier jean, but I love the relaxed fit of boyfriend denim (especially when I'm busy enjoying fall-ish food!) A bonus to this outfit? Hello! You're in your favorite jeans and a comfy tee! But, the blazer and heels lend an edge of fancy without trying too hard. A colored clutch & a messy pony completes our first look for sparkly shoes!

Okay.. so I know what you might be thinking.. where can you wear this look? How about a causal date night or drinks with friends? I've worn very similar looks to church before and an almost carbon copy of the above to a salon opening in Hollywood. In all honesty - you could sport it almost anywhere! In fact, while we were shooting this, a woman passed by and said "Great Shoes!" It couldn't have been more perfect timing.

So what do you think? Have you tried this look before? Do you guys like the idea of a How To Wear series? Let me know! :) Happy Saturday! xoxo

Outfit Post: Foxy Lady

Fox Sweater: Target (sold out but similar here at Old Navy)
Metallic Brocade Skirt: Behnaz Sarafpour for Target (realllly old)
Knuckle Clutch: Arbonne Comet Cosmetic - Holiday '12
Shoes: Zara

My new favorite trend: Animal Print Sweaters! They've been popping up all over the designer labels this past year with everything from foxes to owls to birds. And what could probably once qualify for an "Ugly blank Sweater Party" is now considered super cutesy, thankfully :) Plus there are finally some awesome affordable choices available like this Sequin Fox or this Adorable Bulldog one. I grabbed this Pink Fox from Target during my trip home. But, truth be told, I'm searching for a sure-to-be-made-fun-of Jack Russell one (Don't judge! I love my Jacky!)

These sweaters are SO fabulous with denim/leggings and boots, but I wanted to dress mine up a little bit. I've had this jacquard/brocade skirt for forever and since this fabric is hot! hot! hot! right now, I thought it would be the perfect pairing. After adding in the heels and my new favorite knuckle clutch, it kind of upped the ante of this adorable fox. But thankfully my next day hair doesn't make it too dressy and more me. What do you think??

baci/bisous/besos

Lip Service

Lately I've been seeing kiss prints everywhere. From jewelry to clothes to accessories, these kitchy lips make your look just a smooch, I mean smidge, cuter. They're totally inspiring me to play around and have fun with my looks! Plus everything is budget friendly - which I know you guys love! Oh and I think these would make super cute gifts - for a birthday or the holidays! Happy Wednesday! xoxo

Outfit Post: I'm A Hipster

Okay, I'm not really... but I sure do feel like one when I wear my new glasses. You see, although I've been wearing glasses since I was 10, I've never bought a fashionable pair. Since I wear my contacts every day, my glasses are usually reserved for night time, weekend mornings or when I'm sick. They've always been inexpensive, simple and small framed - never much to look at. I've always wanted to experiment with new looks but I just never took the time or the money to buy nicer frames. However all that that changed a few weeks ago when I found Firmoo.

Firmoo is an online optical store that offers a bazillion frame choices, colors, sizes etc.. Well not quite that many but there's definitely a lot to choose from. They're running a promotion where your 1st order of frames are free (all you pay for is the shipping). I knew I couldn't pass up the opportunity to score a new pair and try something new! I've always loved those over-sized, masculine (surprise, surprise), wayfarer Buddy Holly-esque frames. So I finally took the plunge and got a pair!

They're just a smidge larger than I originally thought, but other than that, I LOVE them. It's kind of nice to try something different. After all, I own like 20 pairs of sunglasses, so why not offer some variety with my prescription eye wear! I've enjoyed wearing them outside of my living room and they're definitely a conversation starter. Besides, when have I ever said "be normal"? Ummm never? So if you're ready for a change or just want a little spice in your life - go visit Firmoo. Even if you don't need prescription eye wear, they offer sunglasses too! Now on to my outfit details....

Glasses: Firmoo
Sweater: Anat B.
Denim: Express
Boots: Etienne Aigner via DSW
Clutch: JJ Winters Leather Crossbody c/o LASH Clothing (20% off with code BAD20)

So happy I snagged this textured orange clutch from LASH Clothing. I think my favorite part might be the gold chain that I can pull out whenever I need a free hand. So perfect! Happy Tuesday everyone! xoxo

Outfit Post: Striped Camo

Happy {belated} Veteran's Day everyone! I'm so incredibly thankful for the men & women who serve our country. All their sacrifices give us a peace of mind and freedom that is totally irreplaceable. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!

Camo Trousers: Zara (recent)
Sweater: Banana Republic (last seaon on major sale!)
Bag: c/o GiGi New York
Shoes: Target

Lately, I can't get enough of army green or camo. I scooped up these trousers from Zara last month & have been wearing them non-stop. They're sooo comfy, have super cute details (like the zippers) and I love that they fit my ankles when wearing flats which hardly ever happens since I'm so petite. Continuing on the mixed prints trend train, I choose a neutral colored striped sweater that wasn't overly competitive but complimentary to the green patches. Topped it off with the fabulous bag I received while visiting GiGi New York in September for a perfectly casual fall outfit. Well, minus the bad hair day I was having ;)

I'm finally beginning to not only feel inspired again but that I'm also getting back into my groove. I guess sometimes we all just need a little break. Thanks for all your supportive comments, tweets & posts! Here's to the start of a kick ass week! :)
