LA Weekend [photos]

It's Monday! The weekend went by incredibly fast - faster than normal I think. Bill and I finally got a fab beach day in yesterday but we had a pretty packed weekend. Here's a few snapshots of what's been happening in my life - hope you have a fabulous week! xoxo
Pursuit of Shoes captured a paparazzi shot of my street style - still in love with colored denim.

I spotted these gorgeous roses in a neighbors yard while strolling with the Jacky on Saturday afternoon.

Sneak Peek of my latest outfit post - wore it for happy hour with my husband!

Sunday we crossed off another place from our Diners Drive Ins & Dives list. Patrick's RoadHouse was amazing! (We've been trying to hit up all the locations in SoCal or when we head out of town) P.S. Get the pancakes - they're delish!

Goodies came this morning in the mail for an upcoming giveaway... stay tuned (as in Wednesday!) to find out how you can win!

Outfit Post: Channeling the 80's

{Top: BB Dakota; Skirt: Zara (last seen here); Shoes: Zara; Star Stud Earrings: JewelMint; Pleated Clutch: Vintage}

It wasn't until we were already halfway through our date night that I realized I was totally channeling one of Robert Palmer's Video Girls with this look. I'm actually a huge fan of strong shoulders - which is why this top is one of my favs. I also can't stop wearing this peplum Zara skirt or Zara color block sandals. Can you also spot my ombre candy colored manicure? So fun! We're almost to the weekend Loves!

P.S. Sorry for the dark pictures - it started to sprinkle in the middle of our photo sesh too!

The Search For The Perfect Hi-Low Skirt

I've been searching high and low (ok... so I couldn't help myself!) for a fabulous hi-low skirt to wear during these spring and summer months. You know the kind - party in the front, business in the back? This asymmetrical choice has been on my mind non-stop and in true BAD form, I'm determined to find a budget friendly piece. I thought I had lucked out with a pleated teal find from Zara, but couldn't bring myself to pay $60 bucks for it.

I'm also not exactly sure what kind to get - there are so many prints and fabrics to choose from? Do I go with a tangerine/coral color because it's "THE" color of the moment or do I stick with a neutral palette. What about prints or lace? What do you lovelies think?  Stay tuned BAD readers... hopefully one of these babies will show up in an outfit post... That is, if I can find one! Happy Tuesday!

Gloomy Weekend [photos]

I have a definite case of the "Monday's" today! Along with terrible weekend weather that was supposed to be better than stellar, I feel a sickness coming on! :( Here's a few shining snapshots from my weekend that definitely put a smile on my face.

Thursday night we met some past & present co-workers at Father's Office to catch up. I finally had a burger from there and it was delish!

The forecast for this weekend to bring super amazing beach days with 80+ temps and sunshine. Too bad it was windy, cloudy and rainy the entire weekend :( We only lasted a few hours on the sand before heading home.

Saturday night was date night at one of my favorite LA restaurants - Katsuya. They have the best cocktails - Evergreen Fizz for me, Burning Mandarin for Bill!

At least gloomy weather meant snuggling close with this little guy!

Here's a sneak peek of Saturday's date night attire and upcoming outfit post - I can't get enough of these fabulous sandals!

Hope your weekend was lovely! xoxo

Look Of The Day: Taylor Schilling in Calvin Klein

Actress Taylor Schilling at The Lucky One L.A. Premiere

While searching for some celebrity inspiration, I spotted this stunning lady and her gorgeous dress. At first glance I thought it was model Amber Valleta, but upon closer inspection I saw this gorgeous blonde gal's name is Taylor Schilling. Tall, tan, beautiful - oh, and she's Zac Efron's co-star in the newest Nicholas Sparks' book-turned-movie, The Lucky One. A quick search on Wikipedia and IMDB proves that this movie will be her first major role. I'm putting it out there and predicting she's going to be the next "It" girl.

Sticking to the latest minimal trend, she shined in a body hugging Calvin Klein Collection gown with metallic trim. Adore, adore, adore this look! Sleek, clean and absolutely beautiful. Love the fresh faced makeup and easy updo. She polished off her look with a shining futuristic cuff and silver bag. Sometimes, simplicity really goes a long way. We're almost to the weekend! xoxo

Insta-Weekend [photos]

I thought I'd switch it up by posting an outfit post yesterday and sharing pictures today! Sorry for the late post - and don't forget to follow me on Instagram - NRich14

I wore my best "Friday the 13th" sweater on the 13th... I don't think anyone really gets my horror movie humor :)

This weekend called for a major sweat-a-thon - too bad my workout buddy wasn't much motivation!

Sunday we brunched at one of our fav places in Santa Monica - I highly recommend you eat there! Just be prepared for the wait. I promise it's worth it.

Test ran my 1 pair of my new Zara sandals with my new Salmon colored denim!

We turned the last day of the weekend into Sunday Funday. Love impromptu get togethers with friends! A good rosé wine doesn't hurt either!

Outfit Post: Easter Prints

{Floral Dress: Forever 21 [old]; Shoes: Target; Bracelet: Banana Republic [old]; Leopard Belt: H&M; Clutch: DSW; Sunnies: Target; Lips: Revlon Wild Orchid}

Happy Monday lovelies!! This was my Easter outfit from last week that I forgot to post. This dress actually comes with a wide jeweled belt but I wanted to mix a few prints so I tried it with my leopard belt. I also traded out my heels for a pair of super comfy patent flats that I picked up from Target last week.

Hope you had a fabulous weekend! xoxo

In ♥ With This: Zara Color Block Sandal x's 2

{Zara Color Block Basic Sandal in Red/Purple & Teal/Blue}

These two lovelies should be arriving today around 10 AM via my new best friend, the UPS man. Unfortunately, for my husband and my wallet, I don't think I'd ever be able to decide between them. So it's only natural to keep them both - after all they're completely different... right...?

Outfit Post: Neon Yellow Satchel

{Neon Satchel: Target; Dress: Forever 21 [old]; Belt: Express [old - similar style here]; Shoes: Sole Society [old]; Jewelry: F21 Neon Necklace worn as bracelet, gifted; Sunnies: Target}

I've been dreaming about this Cambridge neon satchel for weeks months. The lite bright bag isn't too incredibly expensive at $215, but I still wasn't sure if I wanted to drop that kind of cash on such a trendy item. Enter this fabulous find: Target's Neon Yellow Satchel for $25! I had been eyeing it for a while and finally decided to purchase it last week. SO happy that I did - I've gotten nothing but compliments on it since I started carrying it! My favorite part about this crossbody bag , other than the fact that it's NEON and adds an instant pop of color, is that it's so incredibly functional. I can stuff anything (including bags of Starbursts) and still have room to spare. I took it for a spin on our Saturday Date Night with a simple black maxi and tons of arm swag. What do you guys think? Happy Wednesday! xoxo

Easter Weekend [photos]

Happy Monday loveys!! How was your weekend?! Mine was so incredibly fabulous! We had a packed schedule, gorgeous weather and a special celebration! Since Instagram finally introduced a version of the app for Android - I've been snapping pics non stop!

We take birthdays very seriously in our department! We showered our boss with cupcakes from my favorite bakery, Yummy Cupcakes, and a GORGEOUS arrangement of flowers.

Saturday afternoon the hubs and I had a fun date night that started out at Copa D'Oro with happy hour! They had a fully stocked bar which provided delish cocktails & I shot a sneak peek of my latest outfit post. Be sure to follow me on Facebook for more pics!

We got up early on Sunday for an amazing Easter Sunrise Service. The moon was still out when we arrived at the beach - it was breathtaking and amazingly overwhelming. What a special gift He gave us!

Sunday afternoon prompted a long stroll around our neighborhood - I can't wait for summer!

Sole Society Pick: Wedges for April!

We're already 6 days into April! Hard to believe it.. Time is really flying! As usual, I've found some fabulous spring options from Sole Society (I'm still enjoying my pick from last month's too!) This month, it's all about the wedges for me!

Adore this pair of nautically inspired espadrilles! Colorful wedges are just the pop of color your outfit needs. Perfect for sundresses or shorts and tanks! Your tan tootsies will thank you.

I've been searching high and low for a peep toe nude wedge - this might just be a winner! Lately, I was wavering about ankle straps but the Belinda changed my tune on that situation. Maybe the Rosalie will too! Plus check our that unique detailed wedge - always a conversation piece!

Have you found anything from this month's picks that you love? I want to hear which ones! Happy Friday!! xoxo
