Outfit Post: Abstract Crop Top & Midi Skirt

Just because fall is coming soon, doesn't mean I have to give up on crop tops! With the right cut, colors and style, you can make a crop top work for just about any occasion.

A few weeks ago, I told you about my exciting shopping trip at Carolina Premium Outlets. It was SO much fun visiting all the stores during "Better Than Tax Free" Weekend. I had never actually been to these outlets before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I was REALLY impressed! J.Crew, Banana Republic, Gap, Ray Ban, I mean the list goes on... and they had some really amazing deals. If you're in the RDU area, you've got to check out their stores.

Thankfully, I got a ton of pieces for fall, including this beautiful crop top and skirt set. When I put it on in the store, I told my mom "this is how you wear a crop top in a classy way." It's so elegant and pretty. I LOVE it!

Stay tuned for more of my amazing finds from Carolina Premium Outlets - I have so many to share! Happy Tuesday!

Outfit Post: 90's Daisy Shorts

I've got to be honest - I've been really nervous about trying the high-waisted denim trend. I wasn't sure if I'd actually like it. But when Missguided asked me to collaborate, I knew I wanted to take a chance and try them out. So these daisy print distressed cutoffs showed up. Turns out I LOVE them! Here's just one of the many ways I've been wearing them...

Sole Society sunglasses (sold out - but identical option)
Jennifer Zeuner "Serafina" custom necklace (gifted)

Michael Kors "Bradshaw" watch

What do you guys think? Are you into high waisted denim at all or have tried it? I think with the right top and shoes, it can be REALLY cute. I also recently wore them to a concert last week with a flowy crop-ish top. SO cute!

Pssssst, this pair is on MAJOR sale right now too. Just note that they run about 1 size too small. Also my sandals are HALF off and come in 3 colors. I just ordered the black because I've just about worn the luggage color practically every day this summer.

Happy Tuesday loves! xo

Outfit Post: Pineapples, Lucite & Summer Cutoffs

Summer has been filled with LOTS of coffee. It's a been a busy one. So when Bill and I finally had a weekend where we both were in town and not working (it's been rare around here folks) we went full on adult. Furniture shopping, houseware buying, looking at art, and bike riding around town. Hence this perfect summer outfit of cutoffs, comfy and freaking cute sneaks and a hands free bag.

My Erin Dana x Nervo mini backpack is the perfect hands free, bike riding, furniture shopping, do anything bag. I've been using it non stop since it arrived on my doorstop. It can surprisingly hold a lot of stuff and it's super unique - which of course is why I love it! What do you guys think?

Bucketfeet just launched their Fall 2015 line of shoes and I'm in love. Yes that's right, I am now a sneaker lover. I think it just took a while for me to find the right style for me and now I can't stop wearing slip on sneaks. They're perfect for a comfort seeker yet fashionable to wear with everyday outfits, something I often look for when I'm shopping. Not to mention they're so stinking cute. I mean just look at The Perfect Gentleman. DIE.

My other favorite part about Bucketfeet? Their mission is to connect everyone through art. Which is why all of their shoes feature designs by artists, telling their stories and sharing them with the world. How. Freaking. Cool. Right?

Happy Wednesday! xoxo

Outfit Post: Scallop Romper

When I first introduced you to #TheHex Collection, I was wearing this piece as a belt bag. But surprise! It's actually a 3-in-1, convertible bag. Versatile is so key when I'm picking out items for my wardrobe. Bags like this are perfect for summer traveling too, because you pretty much have 3 different ways to wear 1 item. Less room in your suitcase!

When I went to my friends Bachelorette party a few weeks ago, it was hilarious because almost every girl there had a romper to wear the last night. But rompers are just the best, aren't they? With the scallop hem, this one is so dainty and feminine, yet it feels like pajamas. Comfy and chic? Yes please!

I love the way the hologram bag looks against this whole outfit. It really stands out and pops. There are so many metallic options in #TheHex Collection and I love it. Check out this textured option or this mirrored one. And just in case savings are your thing, you can use the promocode: bedazzlesafterdark for 20% off your purchase on www.thehexcollection.com

"Just Do It" With Kicks USA

Do you ever have the moments where you're like... how the heck am I going to get everything done today? That's been my life lately. I wake up at 6:30 and go, go, go until at least midnight. Okay 2 AM (I know.. it’s bad! Sleep when you’re dead, right?) I know, I know. This is most people's lives too. I'm not complaining. But sometimes I need to be able to just throw on a comfy go-run-45,875-errands look. Lately I’ve been doing so many things after my evening or early Saturday workouts. And normally I’m not a fan of sweatpants in public. But these vintage-inspired Nike pants have me thinking otherwise…

When Kicks USA reached out to me about styling an outfit, I knew it had to be versatile. The truth is, I’m a workout lover. But I’m an even bigger fan of workout wear. It’s SO. COMFY. Plus, it’s not like you’re wearing pajamas in public, even though it feels like it. So when I go from my crazy sweaty workout to grabbing groceries at the store or a Target run, I can change into these cropped sweats and not feel bad about my outfit (or walk around in sweaty gym pants)

Also, can I just say how in love with this side tie tank I am?! At first, I was worried it would look too blousy. But once I put it on and wore it with some workout capris - holy flattering! Even my gym bud said how much she liked it. Now I’m trying to figure out how I can wear it in every day life (#ButForRealTho)

This week has already been crazy and it's only Tuesday morning. Ay Yi Yi! Hope you have a great one! xo
