Today's #BADxGameDay outfit is a 90's inspired one. Which actually doubles perfectly for October weather. Sometimes it can be hard to dress for College Game Day when the afternoons are in the upper 70's but then the evenings are in the 50's. This flannel tied around my waist was perfect while spending time outside before last week's insanely, crazy, ridiculous Notre Dame game. My OCJ Apparel tank top kept me nice and cool in the sun. But once it got dark and the temps dropped, I was able to wrap that flannel around me and keep me nice and cozy.

I'm doubly excited for today's post because I've got an AWESOME giveaway! I've teamed up with one of my favorite Game Day brands, OCJ Apparel, to give you $150 store credit!! Ummmm... talk about AMAZING! You can choose anything from their store included the fabulous branded jeans (seen on me here) or a pair of shorts, or a tee/tank! This is the ultimate college-football-slash-fashion-lover's dream! Here's the rafflecopter - good luck!! Oh and Happy Friday y'all!

Outfit Post: Frye Ankle Boots for the Fair

pssssst. Denim on Denim is no longer a no-no. But how do you wear it? Just keep your denim shades totally different. This outfit works because my chambray top is very light and my jeans are a dark rinse. What do you think?

Mirrored Aviators with Topknot and pink lips

Frye Reina Leather Ankle Boots in Camel

Denim on Denim with Frye Ankle Boots

GiGi New York Madison Crossbody Bag

Rolled up skinny jeans with ankle boots

Chambray Button Up with Mirror Aviators

Chambray Button Up Shirt

Denim on Denim with Ankle Boots

Target Chambray Shirt (old - this year's version is here but I also love this GAP option)
Forever 21 Skinny Denim
Frye "Reina" Ankle Boots in Camel c/o Belk
GiGi New York "Madison" Crossbody Bag in Stone c/o
Zero UV Mirrored Aviators
Caravelle New York Rose Gold Watch (gifted - old - new version here)
Sally Hansen Nail Polish Strips in "Lust-Trous" || Maybelline Vivids Lipstick in Fuchsia Flash

I'm not sure if it was the fact that I was headed to the NC State Fair on Sunday - but something just made me want to throw on Denim on Denim, sport my new boots and eat an obscene amount of fair food (like whoa). If anyone tries to tell you Fried Mac-n-Cheese isn't amazing, then they haven't really lived.

These Frye ankle booties are my new jam. Would you believe me if I told you I've never owned a pair of Frye's before? Shocking, I know. Well color me happy, because I never want to take these babies off my feet. How did I not know how comfy they could be? I'd rather not focus on how many years I've wasted of not wearing Frye Boots. From now on, I only want to think about how many pairs I can add to my closet (the answer is 1 million.. obviously)

Lucky for you it's Frye week at Belk. So you can scoop up your favorite pair and not think about how ridiculous it is that you don't have one. Keep up with new Frye news all this week on social media with the hashtag #BelkScene. Happy Tuesday!

Another game day, another edition of #BADxGameDay! I think this might be one of my favorite Game Day looks because I got to actually wear this to the FSU - NC State game a few weeks ago. It was an incredibly stressful, exciting and crazy game to be at. Especially if you're sitting directly behind the Wolfpack's student section, wearing this. But I really didn't care. I tomahawk-chopped my little Seminole heart out.

Let's talk tailgate/stadium outfits for a minute. This Erin Dana belt bag is AMAZING. I could eat hotdogs, play cornhole, double fist drinks (hey, I was getting into the college spirit) and jump around cheer my team on, without having to worry about where my damn handbag was. It was AMAZING. Oh and if you were wondering, I breezed through "security."

My go to game day jewelry is always JV Hantres. She's got lots of school options including Clemson, Bama, Georgia, Auburn and more. Jacqueline can also do custom orders if you request them! How cute would this bracelet be in your team's colors? Talk about school spirit! She's also giving BAD readers 10% off your order of $20 or more through the rest of 2014. I mean, hello Christmas gifts! Use JV Hantres promo code BADxFSU.

I'm thinking of doing another spotlight for your Game Day outfits like the one I posted last year. Are you guys interested again? Leave a comment below if you are! xo

Outfit Post: Date Night Distressed Denim

Banana Republic Gold Sequin Crossbody Bag (so old - this one is super budget friendly // this one is on sale)
Sole Society "Jilly" Sunglasses c/o || Michael Kors "Bradshaw" Watch || DaisyGem Crystal Necklace (sold out - identical option at ILY Couture)
Covergirl Nail Polish in "Diva After Dark" || Maybelline Vivids Lipstick in "Fuchsia Flash

You guys... My search for the perfect distressed skinny jean is OVER. I've been looking for months (a year really) for the perfect pair of skinny jeans, that were lightly distressed (apparently some designers go crazy with a blade) and still wearable for date night (a.k.a. a nice dark rinse)

I scored these destroyed beauties from non other than... American Eagle! Yes, I know! I was just as surprised as you were. I had pretty much exhausted all my options (within a reasonable budget that is) and I popped into their store just to "see what they had".  I had no idea they had really stepped up their denim game! Right now they've got every style, shape, color. Really anything you could want. I was so impressed I bought these grey skinny jeggings (wearing them today) as well as these destroyed light wash skinny jeans.

Date night is one of my favorite nights, but it's doubly exciting when we do a Double Date night. I threw on my new jeans, my favorite white blouse and some printed pumps. All I needed after that was a gold necklace and sequin clutch to finish it off. In my head, this is the dressed up date night version of "Jeans & a Tee". Not too fancy... Not too casual.  Super comfy, yet you still look very put together.

What's your favorite Date Night look? Happy Monday! xo
